The other day I was looking for a button. As I was trawling through my collection, I came upon a few old favourites. I got to admiring them all, and then I did this:
Arranging my buttons made me happy. If you look at the peach buttons in the middle it looks like they're smiling too! Isn't it nice to be with all your button friends?
Perhaps one day I'll even sew them on to something...
@Julie - thanks! (And that's not even all of them!) I have been meaning to replace the buttons on some things, perhaps looking at this photo will get going!

It must be! I hadn't thought to buy buttons on ebay - dangerous!
oh, what an amazing collection of vintage buttons! such special buttons are sure to find their way onto some special knits in the future for sure.
*sigh!* Buttons! Though useful, they are not nearly as soothing when they are on a sweater.
